My continuing guilt about not being able to go to the vigil and demonstration on Saturday, has driven me to more art and I have been drawing olive trees.
This tree is called Al Badawi and is thought to be the oldest tree in existence, dated by scientists as between 4,000 and 5,000 years old. It is in the Palestinian village of Al Walaja, which has been repeatedly invaded, moved and diminished and is now almost encircled by the wall.
